You may never have heard of Corpinnat, but if you're into sparkling wine, you are going to love this... Hailing from the Penedès region in Catalonia, this is a step beyond the better known Cava. Corpinnat has to follow the traditional 'Champagne method' of wine-making, but can only use organic, indigenous grapes, hand picking, hand riddling & disgorging.
The result is simply a spectacular value sparkling wine. Dry, toasty and complex, this is a perfect aperitif, and will also hold up beautifully with foods. Delicious!
