Domaine de Gaubourg is situated along the black schist slopes of the Loire River in the village of Anjou. Vines from 6 to 70 years old planted on a shallow sandy loam soil on a bedrock of grey schist with quartz veins.
Lively acidity with a fullness from 9 months of barrel aging on the lees.Â
