Grapes: 44% Pinot Noir, 36% Trousseau & 20% Poulsard

Founded in 1942 and now under the care of the Devillard family (of Burgundy’s Domaine des Perdrix fame), Domaine Rolet continues to define what makes Jura so captivating — wines that are vivid, precise, and unmistakably alive. The Arbois Rouge “Tradition” 2023 is a seamless blend of the region’s three emblematic red grapes, expressing the delicate balance between earth, forest fruit, and freshness that defines the best of this mountain region.

Each variety is vinified separately with native yeasts before blending and aging in neutral oak and stainless steel — an approach that preserves purity while adding subtle texture. The result is a wine of remarkable finesse: light in body yet complex in tone.

Aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry, and black tea mingle with hints of dried herbs and forest floor. The palate is silky and lifted, with bright red fruit, fine tannins, and a savory, mineral finish. Elegant, versatile, and effortlessly drinkable — a Jura red that speaks softly but leaves a lasting impression.
