Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, and other native varieties
From the hills just outside Verona, L’Arco has quietly built a cult following for soulful, artisanal reds that channel the depth of Amarone without the heaviness. Winemaker Luca Fedrigo — once an apprentice to the legendary Giuseppe Quintarelli — established L’Arco with a vision to carry forward the traditions of Valpolicella while giving them a fresher, more contemporary voice.
The Rosso Veronese blends Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, crafted with partial appassimento (drying of grapes) that lends richness and complexity. Fermentation is spontaneous, aging is in large neutral barrels, and the wines are bottled unfiltered — all choices that keep purity and character front and center.
In the glass, it’s perfumed with ripe cherries, violets, and dried herbs, unfolding into flavors of plum, redcurrant, and a hint of cocoa. The texture is silky yet vibrant, with supple tannins and a long, savory finish dusted with spice. It feels both generous and refined — unmistakably Veneto, yet lifted and drinkable.
Perfect with braised meats, roasted vegetables, aged cheeses, or simply as a contemplative glass on its own. This is a red that brings the spirit of Verona to the table with every sip.
