From the Montagne de Reims, Frédéric Savart is one of Champagne’s most dynamic grower-producers, known for wines that balance energy, texture, and precision. Working primarily in Premier Cru villages, Savart focuses on expressive, site-driven Pinot Noir with a modern, detail-oriented approach.
“L’Ouverture” is sourced from estate vineyards in Écueil, fermented with care to preserve purity, then aged on its lees to build depth and integration. The wine is finished with low dosage, allowing the natural structure and character of the fruit to come through clearly.
Vibrant and finely structured, it shows notes of red apple, citrus peel, and subtle red berry, alongside hints of brioche and spice. The palate is crisp yet textured, with a fine mousse and a chalky mineral edge that carries through a clean, precise finish. A natural pairing for oysters, shellfish, or simply enjoyed as an aperitif.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
