Grapes: 60% Clairette, 20% Grenache blanc, 10% Roussanne, 10% Bourboulenc blend
From one of Châteauneuf’s most storied family domaines, Domaine du Pégau is revered for its unapologetically traditional style — wines of depth, texture, and unmistakable southern character. The Réserve Blanc 2023 brings that same spirit to the seldom-seen white side of the appellation, delivering richness and radiance in perfect balance.
Sourced from old vines rooted in limestone and clay, the grapes are fermented with native yeasts and aged on fine lees in neutral oak. The result is a white wine that’s full-bodied yet lifted — layered with fruit, spice, and a savory edge that defines great Rhône whites.
Aromas of pear, white peach, and almond blossom give way to notes of citrus oil, beeswax, and crushed stone. The palate is round yet vibrant, carrying flavors of golden apple, fennel, and a touch of honey through a long, saline finish. Complex and age-worthy, yet utterly inviting — this is southern Rhône elegance at its most refined.
