Les Équilibristes — “the tightrope walkers” — are a collective of winemakers who balance precision with play, crafting wines that highlight the individuality of France’s lesser-known regions. Hirsute is their take on Bergerac Rouge: juicy, bright, and utterly drinkable, made with a light hand and a sense of fun.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged in concrete and stainless steel, it’s made without oak influence to preserve freshness and fruit purity. Bottled unfiltered, with only minimal sulfur, it captures the easy energy of the vintage.
Aromas of crushed raspberry, plum, and redcurrant mingle with notes of graphite, wild herbs, and spice. The palate is lively and medium-bodied, with supple tannins and a cool, stony edge that keeps everything in balance. Vibrant, savory, and delightfully unpretentious — serve slightly chilled with grilled meats, charcuterie, or Mediterranean dishes.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will attempt to provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
