The vibrancy of Aurélien Verdet’s wines reflects his personal passion and commitment to organic winemaking. As the third generation of his family to grow grapes in Burgundy, his approach reflects an inherited conscience from his father, Alain, who was a pioneer in organic viticulture and winemaking. Continuing the commitment to sustainable and organic practices, his wines capture the authenticity of their terroir and deliver purity, finesses and elegance. The wines are made in a style that is both accessible when young, yet will age gracefully for years.
The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village opens in the glass with scents of cassis, potpourri and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, with powdery tannins and a long, saline finish. It's another fine effort from Verdet.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will attempt to provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
