Grapes: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot
The 2020 Signature Cabernet Sauvignon is a standout, opening with attractive floral aromas and a burst of brambly fruit flavorsā wild blackberry, cherry, cassis, and boysenberry, lent by additional contributions of Merlot. Savory secondary notes of dried sage leaf, herbal incense, spiced chai, and cacao expand on the mid-palateāadding intrigue and depth. This is a lively and powerful wine, with finely-knit tannins to support longer term aging. With the uncommon 2020 season resulting in limited yields, Winemaker Hope Goldieās selectivity and blending techniques produced a beautiful wine reflective of Darioushās commitment to quality, consistency and style.
