In the hills above Barolo, G.D. Vajra has become a modern benchmark for the region. Their “Albe” bottling is a tribute to the dawn — a blend of three vineyards that catch the first light over the Langhe.
The 2021 vintage is classic Vajra: delicate extraction, native-yeast fermentation, and long aging in large Slavonian oak casks. No artifice, no excess — just patience and precision guiding the fruit toward balance and beauty.
Aromas of red cherry, rose petal, and orange peel lead into notes of spice, anise, and gentle earth. The palate is poised and finely textured — bright acidity carries pure fruit through a long, graceful finish with tannins that feel both firm and featherlight. A wine that's approachable young, yet quietly built to last.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
