From the rolling hills of the Kremstal, Winzer Krems is one of Austria’s most respected cooperatives — a collective of growers whose commitment to quality has made them guardians of Grüner Veltliner’s true character. Sandgrube 13, named for the iconic vineyard that surrounds their historic cellars, is the purest expression of that spirit: bright, peppery, and unmistakably Austrian.
Fermented in stainless steel and aged briefly on fine lees, the wine showcases freshness and precision over power. No oak, no fuss — just clean fruit and a whisper of minerality that speaks directly of the region’s cool slopes and loess soils.
Aromas of lime zest, pear, and white pepper rise from the glass, followed by a palate that’s crisp, zippy, and beautifully textured. Notes of green apple and citrus peel glide into a dry, refreshing finish. It’s an easygoing yet sophisticated white — perfect with seafood, salads, or a sunny afternoon.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
