Grapes: 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Sauvignon Blanc
From the windswept hills of California’s Central Coast, Lady of the Sunshine is the personal project of Gina Giugni, rooted in organic farming and a holistic, site-driven approach. Working with vineyards across San Luis Obispo County, she focuses on wines that feel transparent, energetic, and closely tied to place.
This rosé draws on coastal-influenced sites where ocean breezes preserve freshness and natural acidity. Pinot Noir provides the core, while a touch of Sauvignon Blanc lifts the aromatics. The fruit is harvested early, gently pressed, and fermented with native yeasts before resting in neutral vessels to retain clarity and texture.
Bright and finely tuned, it shows notes of wild strawberry, pink citrus, and fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and lightly textured, with a saline edge that reflects its coastal origin. Clean, refreshing, and quietly complex, it pairs naturally with grilled seafood, citrus-dressed salads, or simply enjoyed chilled in the sun.
