Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
From the Mosel, Günther Steinmetz is best known for precise, site-driven Rieslings, but has quietly become a compelling voice for Pinot Noir in the region. Working with steep, slate-influenced vineyards, the focus is on finesse and clarity rather than power.
The fruit is harvested by hand and handled with a light touch, with fermentation aimed at preserving purity and aromatic detail. Aging takes place in neutral oak, allowing the wine to gain structure and texture without overt wood influence.
Delicate yet expressive, it shows notes of red cherry, cranberry, and a touch of earth, with a subtle herbal lift. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with fine tannins and bright acidity carrying through a clean, quietly mineral finish. A natural pairing for roast poultry, charcuterie, or mushroom-based dishes.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
