Grapes: 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Blanc
Down in the Côte des Bar, Pierre Gerbais has become one of those Champagne producers we love discovering; family-run, deeply connected to its vineyards, and doing something that feels a little different from the big houses further north. Pinot Blanc has an unusually important place at the domaine, bringing another dimension to the more familiar partnership of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Grains de Celles Rosé is built around those three varieties, with Pinot Noir providing both structure and the red-fruited character at the heart of the wine. A small addition of red wine creates the rosé, while an Extra Brut finish keeps things decidedly dry.
Wild strawberry and red cherry meet pink grapefruit and a little peach, with a subtle savory note underneath. There’s enough fruit to make it immediately inviting, but plenty of freshness and fine bubbles keep it lively rather than sweet or heavy. This is rosé Champagne made for drinking, not admiring; brilliant with charcuterie, grilled salmon, tuna, or a pile of salty fries.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
