Grapes: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot

Founded by Tim Mondavi and family, Continuum represents a return to the family’s roots — an estate devoted entirely to Cabernet-based blends grown on the sunlit slopes of Pritchard Hill. The vineyard, perched high above the valley floor, produces wines that combine Napa’s intensity with an almost Old World grace. The 2021 vintage reflects a season of purity and focus, shaped by meticulous farming and restrained winemaking.

Hand-harvested fruit was fermented in small French oak and concrete vats, then aged for 20 months in fine-grained barrels, most of them neutral. The result is a wine of extraordinary balance: generous yet precise, powerful yet nuanced. Every element is in quiet harmony, allowing the mountain fruit to speak in its full voice.

Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and graphite mingle with notes of cedar, cocoa, and violet. On the palate, the wine is expansive and layered — silky tannins and deep fruit anchored by mineral freshness. The finish is long and graceful, with a fine thread of spice and lift.
