This is a spectacular (and increasingly rare) expression of some of the best of Burgundy.

The Chavy family has lived in Puligny-Montrachet for more than two centuries but producing wine under their label only since 1986, when Gérard Chavy began bottling under his own domaine. Jean-Louis, the latest generation of the family, finds the perfect balance of applying traditional and organic vineyard practices while welcoming new technology in the cellar. His wine style emphasizes fruit purity and minerality with rich, opulent texture. They are classic Puligny-Montrachet wines made in a classic style showing elegance, grace and longevity, and the wines from the legendary Les Folatières vineyard are increasingly hard to come by.

Expressive, with white peach, lemon, and pear, alongside white flowers, toasted almond, and wet stone. this opens into an opulent yet elegant palate, showcasing concentrated citrus and stone fruit, balanced by vibrant minerality and acidity. Expect a precise, caressing texture and a long, harmonious finish with great aging potential.
