Grapes: Chardonnay
Shabo is based in one of the oldest wine terroirs in Europe, with winemaking practised since the times of the ancient Greeks. More than 2.500 years ago, they founded the settlement of Tira (later the city of Akkerman) at the Black Sea coast, and planted vineyards here. Today Shabo is pioneering fine wine production in the area.
On the nose this has aromas of white peach, sea buckthorn and florals. On the palate, the Chardonnay is fresh, balanced and rounded with a long finish.
