Anne-Sophie Dubois is a part of a young generation of vignerons redefining the identity of Beaujolais. Born and raised in Champagne, she caught the wine bug early and spent her formative years learning the ropes in Burgundy. (Far from the usual story of winemakers in Beaujolais.)
Her “Alchimiste” ages for ten months, partially in cement cuvees and in used oak casks, and is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Profound, elegant, and refined: this beautiful Beaujolais pairs the aromatics and minerality Fleurie is renowned for with a depth of dark-berry fruit and a solid tannic structure."
