The Dhondt-Grellet story really begins in 1986, when Eric Dhondt & Edith Grellet made the decision to stop selling off their grapes to négociants and began bottling under their own label. The family has taken their focus on farming to produce honest Champagnes from holdings across the CÎte des Blancs.
The base vintage of this cuvée accounts for 70% of the blend with the remainder comes from a solera reserve started in 1986. The Chardonnay is very much front and centre in the wine's floral and citrus-driven profile. Bright, focused and tightly wound, the wine opens with wonderful nutty, savoury notes coming through alongside the taught mineral and citrus flavours, which really bring this Champagne to life.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will attempt to provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customerâs expense.
