Vina Cobos, one of seven wineries on four continents owned by Paul Hobbs, is where “The Steve Jobs of Wine” is making his mark in South America. If you know South America for Argentinian Malbecs it is thanks in part to Paul’s dedication to this region. Felino Chardonnay delivers a modern, balanced expression of Mendoza fruit. Hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts and a portion undergoing malolactic fermentation to round out acidity.
Aromas of ripe apple, pear, and citrus are complemented by subtle vanilla and toast from gentle oak aging. The palate is round yet fresh, with lively acidity keeping the wine focused and food friendly.
HOW TO ENJOY:
Great with roast chicken, creamy pastas, or grilled vegetables. Serve lightly chilled.
