Known for his iconic aged Sicilian red wines, this is a different take from winemaker Massimiliano Calabretta, taking grapes from some of his youngest vines. The clusters are destemmed but not crushed, beginning whole-grain fermentation andĀ 10 days of semi-carbonic macerationĀ for a tantalizing and delicious wine.
Fresh, well-structured combines quick, satisfying drinking with not bad complexity. Elegant tannins and ripe fruit with spicy, smoky notes.
