Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara

Founded in 1975 by Roberto Bricolo and now led by his daughter Roberta, Gorgo is a family-run estate near Custoza, just east of Lake Garda. The winery has long been a pioneer in organic viticulture in the region, producing wines that emphasize freshness, clarity, and a deep sense of place. Bardolino 2024 captures the breezy, sunlit spirit of the Veneto — vibrant, light on its feet, and unmistakably Italian.

The grapes are harvested from the estate’s hillside vineyards, fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, and aged briefly on fine lees to preserve fruit and purity. The absence of oak keeps the focus on brightness and drinkability, a hallmark of the Bardolino style.

Fragrant and inviting, the nose shows wild strawberry, cherry, and rose petals, with a touch of herbs and spice. The palate is juicy and supple, with red berry fruit, a hint of bitter orange, and a clean, lightly savory finish. Served slightly chilled, it’s perfect for aperitifs, grilled vegetables, charcuterie, or a casual summer meal outdoors.
