The Boulay family have nine hectares in the famed Sancerre village of Chavignol, and can trace their history as grape growers in the village back to 1380. Boulay has been farming organically since 1990 and harvests everything by hand. The top wines, aged in a mix of tank and neutral 300L barrels, can age easily for over 20 years, earning Boulay a reputation as a go-to for quality and longevity in a village of Sancerre’s most celebrated vineyards and domaines.
Boulay’s parcel in “La Grande Côte,” is one of three designated Crus of Chavignol and is reputed for producing wines of incredible precision. Vintage 2010 was the inaugural release. Intense minerality, ripe citrus and candied fruit underline this wine. Complexity, driving acidity and crystalline purity make up this outstanding expression of Sancerre.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
