In the hills above Barolo, G.D. Vajra has become a modern benchmark for the region. Their “Albe” bottling is a tribute to the dawn — a blend of three vineyards that catch the first light over the Langhe. 

The 2021 vintage is classic Vajra: delicate extraction, native-yeast fermentation, and long aging in large Slavonian oak casks. No artifice, no excess — just patience and precision guiding the fruit toward balance and beauty.

Aromas of red cherry, rose petal, and orange peel lead into notes of spice, anise, and gentle earth.
