From Italy’s Adriatic coast in the Marche, La Calcinara is a small, organically farmed estate working with a low-intervention approach to highlight the character of local varieties. Their wines lean toward freshness and energy, offering a more lifted, modern take on Rosso Conero.
“Il Cacciatore di Sogni” (the dream hunter) is sourced from hillside vineyards overlooking the sea, where cooling breezes help retain balance in the warm climate. Fermentation is carried out with a gentle touch, followed by aging in neutral vessels to preserve purity and structure.
Bright yet grounded, it shows notes of dark cherry, plum, and wild herbs, with a subtle savory edge. The palate is medium-bodied, with soft tannins and fresh acidity giving the wine both lift and approachability. Easygoing but characterful, it pairs naturally with grilled meats, pasta, or rustic Mediterranean dishes.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
