From Italy’s Adriatic coast in the Marche, La Calcinara is a small, organically farmed estate focused on low-intervention wines that highlight freshness and place. Their approach leans toward energy and drinkability, offering a more relaxed, expressive take on the region’s traditional styles.
“Clochard” is sourced from coastal-influenced vineyards, where sea breezes help retain natural acidity. The wine is fermented with a gentle touch and aged in neutral vessels, preserving aromatic lift and keeping the profile clean and unadorned.
Bright and easygoing, it shows notes of citrus, green apple, and a touch of white peach, with a subtle herbal edge. The palate is light and refreshing, with crisp acidity and a clean, slightly mineral finish. Effortless and versatile, it pairs naturally with seafood, salads, or simple Mediterranean dishes.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will attempt to provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
