Grapes: 97% Arinto and 3% Verdelho
Swing a cat in a wine store in Portugal, and you're likely to hit upon a white wine made from the indigenous grape varietal Arinto. Here in the USA, this grape isn't recognised by the Trade Bureau hence the naming "Cachudo".
Anyways, the result is a spectacular Californian summer wine, full of energy, minerality and lots of citrus. Delicious.
