With a female founder and winemaker, Lapostolle is producing superb wines in Chile. Founded by Alexandra Marnier Laspostolle (great grand daughter of the founder of orange Liqueur Grand Marnier), who fell in love with the Cochagua Valley and saw potential to make world class wines in this corner of the world. Their motto is "French in Essence. Chilean by Birth,” explained by winemaker Andrea Leon, “We are not making French wines in Chile, but Chilean wines with a French winemaking philosophy.”
Ruby red with cherry edge, this Merlot is full of red fruit aromas such as cherries and strawberry with fresh herbs aromas and a touch of vanilla. Silky and elegant attack, medium bodied with plums and cherry flavors. Enjoy with homemade pastas such as beetroot capeletti stuffed with cheese and pistachios or turkey panzotti and bolognese sauce.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
