Grapes: 100% Encruzado
From the Dão region of Portugal, Mira do Ó is the personal project of winemaker Sérgio Paiva, focused on small-production wines that highlight native varieties with clarity and restraint. “O Druida” represents his most site-driven work, centered on old vineyards and minimal intervention.
The 2023 Encruzado is sourced from higher-altitude sites, with fruit harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts. Aging takes place in a mix of neutral oak and stainless steel, building texture while preserving the grape’s natural freshness and mineral edge.
Focused and quietly layered, it shows notes of citrus peel, white peach, and subtle herbal tones, with a hint of almond. The palate is textured yet precise, with bright acidity and a fine mineral backbone carrying through a long, clean finish. A natural pairing for grilled fish, roast chicken, or simple, seasonal dishes.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will attempt to provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
