From California’s Central Coast, Outward Wines is a small, low-intervention project focused on coastal sites and minimal handling in the cellar. The aim is clarity and freshness, with wines that reflect both vineyard and climate rather than winemaking.
“Montaña de Oro” 2024 is sourced from vineyards influenced by the Pacific, where cool ocean air helps preserve acidity and aromatic lift. The fruit is handled gently, with fermentation and aging in neutral vessels to maintain purity and texture without overt oak influence.
Bright and quietly layered, it shows notes of citrus peel, green apple, and a touch of white peach, with a subtle saline edge. The palate is crisp yet lightly textured, with fresh acidity and a clean, mineral-driven finish. A natural pairing for shellfish, grilled fish, or simple, seasonal dishes.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will attempt to provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
