The 2019 Pursued by Bear Cabernet Sauvignon marks the 15th vintage of their flagship Cab. Dark berry aromas and flavors, along with undertones of plum and cassis, complement the wine’s elegant structure, impeccable balance, and fine tannins. A small amount of Cabernet Franc, a new addition to the blend, contributes refined notes of coffee and tapenade, and a touch of Merlot adds a hint of sweet cherry.
From a vintage that will be remembered for producing wines with great concentration and purity of fruit, this is a classic Washington Cab. Drinking beautifully on release, it promises to take on added complexity and richness for those with the patience to cellar.
