From the moment the glass touches your nose, Stagg draws you in with deep aromas of toasted oak, dark chocolate, molasses sweetness and a hint of smoke. Underneath, there’s a softer undertow of dried cherries and leather that adds depth. On the palate, expect a lush cascade of caramel, brown sugar and dark fruit, edged by racy rye spice and rich oak warmth. The mouthfeel is dense and enveloping — warm, chewy and intense. The finish lingers: long, charred wood, tobacco leaf, black pepper and a slow fade of sweet oak.
