From El Arenal in Jalisco, Cascahuin is a traditional, family-run distillery known for producing some of the most authentic, additive-free tequilas in the region. With a focus on craftsmanship and heritage methods, the house style leans toward purity, structure, and a clear expression of agave.
For this bottling, cooked agave is crushed using a tahona stone, a slow and gentle process that extracts deeper, more complex flavors from the fibers. Fermentation and distillation are carried out with minimal intervention, preserving the integrity of the raw material and the character of the method.
Richer and more layered than the standard Blanco, it shows notes of roasted agave, citrus, and fresh herbs, with a subtle earthy depth. The palate is round and textured, with a soft, almost creamy feel balanced by bright acidity and a long, savory finish. Ideal sipped neat to appreciate its detail, or in a more spirit-forward cocktail.
